Delivery Options Northern Ireland Mobility operates 3 standard delivery options. The selected option is chosen for you, based on the weight of the item. (This also includes volumetric weight, where some items are very large but not very heavy.) There may be some cases, perhaps where there is a technical element to the item purchased but the item is not over 30kg, where you may wish to upgrade your delivery option from Courier to Technicial Installed Delivery, (Option 2 to Option 3). If you wish to take advantage of this delivery upgrade, please call us on 028 7137 3377 (0044 28 7137 3377). We will be pleased to help where possible, with the difference between the 2 delivery options being payable in advance by card payment over the phone. Option 1 – 1st Class Recorded Delivery Items up to 1kg in weight will be despatched 1st Class Recorded Delivery. We reserve the right to despatch direct by courier – the customer will only pay the Option 1 price. Option 2 – Signed for Courier Delivery Items between 1kg and 30kg in weight (including volumetric weight) will be despatched by signed-for courier. Option 3 – Technician Installed Delivery Items over 30kg will be hand-delivered by a trained mobility product technician. Your purchase will be unpacked and set-up, and you will be shown how to operate and maintain it. In the case of scooters and powerchairs, you will be given instructions in the safe operation and protocols of driving a mobility vehicle. You will be called to arrange a mutually convenient time for delivery, so please ensure that you include a readily-available contact phone number in your details. Your purchase will be final when you sign the handover sheet accepting satisfactory delivery and set-up of your selected item. If for any reason you decide to return your product after purchase your delivery costs will not be returnable and return carriage charges will be borne solely by you the customer.
